Nickerson Family Idaho Ranch Vigil
It happened to us. What will you do when it happens to you?

Our family is still holding a vigil overlooking our Idaho Ministry Ranch.
We are fighting for freedom and justice for all in faith, prayer, and action.

This is happening to us in America.

Day 101
Is Freedom And Justice For All?

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, February 20, 2020 - Day 101
Today is Day 101. Did you watch our new music video, It Is Sad To Be An American yet? If not, will you please take a few minutes to watch this video, share it with others, and help us spread awareness of what is happening to us?

Day 100
It Is Sad To Be An American

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, February 19, 2020 - Day 100
Today is Day 100. For our update today, we are sharing our email update that was sent out to friends and family.

Dear Friends and Family,

What would you do if you woke up homeless on the Continent your fathers conquered? What if you knew you had done nothing wrong and had committed no act or inaction to deserve, warrant or justify your home and wealth being stolen from you and your family? What if false and forged claims were spewed out to persecute you and your family in a targeted character assassination effort? Would you not hope that some common-sense thinkers out there would wonder why this family was being attacked so vehemently? Would you not expect others to at least listen to your side before jumping to unsubstantiated conclusions?

Day 99
Foreclosure Crimes Put Us On A Hillside

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, February 18, 2020 - Day 99
Today is Day 99. Foreclosure does not go away. Wrongful foreclosure impacts past, present, and future generations. Foreclosure crimes void, annul, and revoke the value, significance, and worth of property ownership guaranteed to American citizens. Someone must stand up against this attack on our homeland. Our family is trying. To this end, members of our family have maintained a 24x7 prayer and watchman vigil on the hillside above our Idaho Ranch for the last 99 days at great personal cost and sacrifice. Our faith and personal resolves are strong and helping us endure extreme miscarriages of justice and unwarranted persecution. We are ready for some help from our fellow Americans, but are unwavering in our stand for religious freedom, property rights, and Constitutional due process.

Day 98
How Would You Celebrate President's Day As A "Homeless" American?

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, February 17, 2020 - Day 98
Today is Day 98. Today our family wishes President Trump a Happy President's Day. We realize he is not George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, Ronald Reagan, or one of his other 44 predecessors. Rather, by fate, providential circumstance, or a God-granted miracle, he is President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America. This day that is set aside to remember George Washington and his accomplishments and gifts to our country is a day that should inspire all presidents and leaders across the world to reach for greatness and monumental leadership success.

Day 97
Where Have All The Legislators Gone?

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, February 16, 2020 - Day 97
Today is Day 97. Is asking a bank to follow contractual agreements, regulatory guidelines, statutory codes, and Constitutional laws too much for a homeowner to ask in Idaho or Montana? What if you, like us, were an innocent homeowner being targeted and victimized by big banks? What would you do if your local court and law enforcement violated your Constitutional rights to due process and physically dispossessed you of your property and personal belongings in a violent and illegal armed raid?

Day 96
Highway Robbery

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, February 15, 2020 - Day 96
Today is Day 96. Idaho Ranch
Members of our family have maintained a prayer vigil on a hillside overlooking our ranch for 96 days. Yes, 96 days is a long time. Why are we still here? For the same reason we began this fight, it is the right thing to do. Allowing Clearwater County, a big bank like Chase, or foreign entities like Altisource to militaristically seize and steal what belongs to us without fighting back is submitting to injustice and civil enslavement.

Day 95
Happy Valentine's Day!

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, February 14, 2020 - Day 95
Today is Day 95. We wrote the Valentine's Message below in February, 2013. Our Idaho Ministry Ranch was under attack and the attack had expanded to include our Montana home and ranch. We were begging with public officials to force the banks to work with us and reporting fraud and treachery to all the governing entities who would listen to us. The banks were trying to force us into bankruptcy, but we were fighting back. We have and are continuing to refuse to seek relief from bankruptcy courts because we did nothing wrong. This is not and was never a money problem. This is persecution for our faith.

Day 94
Are You A Prudent Man?

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, February 13, 2020 - Day 94
Today is Day 92. Idaho
A female from Altisource called Tuesday. Our daughter answered the call and placed the person on hold to add us to the line because the caller ID identified Altisource as the caller. They immediately hung up before we could pick up the other line. They have not called back. We do not know the name of the person who called. We have not heard back from JPMorgan Chase. We were unable to reach the representative at the invalid number and extension "the Executive Office of JPMorgan Chase" provided on our recorder.

Day 93
The Bad Guys Are Not The Problem. The Good Guys Are.

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, February 12, 2020 - Day 93
Today is Day 93. Bad guys do bad things. It is expected. In a good, free, and moral society, laws and regulations are put into place to protect the innocent from being harmed and injured by the bad guys. Those believed to be good guys are then given the authority to enforce the laws and regulations. If the good guys do their job, freedom and liberty for all can exist and the innocent can be protected. The system breaks down when the good guys do not do their job. To do nothing is to do something.

Day 92
Our Problem Is Your Problem

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, February 11, 2020 - Day 92
Today is Day 92. Not that long ago, general duty of care meant you must take reasonable care to avoid actions or inactions which might hurt or harm those around you.  It was taught in schools as the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Working and playing together for the good, safety, and benefit of all was drilled in sport teams, groups, and squads. Our society was once interconnected with barn raisings, Sunday lunches, and block parties. We were a caring culture and society. When one hurt, we all hurt.

Day 91
We never know what a day may bring forth.

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, February 10, 2020 - Day 91
Today is Day 91. Idaho
We have a praise report. Simmons Sanitation allowed our family access to the trash receptacle they picked up last Tuesday around 9 a.m. this morning. We were able to salvage a few of our personal belongings – a few bookshelves, wardrobe, ladder, a few other items. A lot was not salvageable, but we are thankful for what was. We are grateful the Simmons Team gave us the chance to go through the container before they destroyed the rest of it. We very much appreciate this act of kindness.

Day 90
What if this happened to you?

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, February 9, 2020 - Day 90
Today is Day 90. What if this happened to you?...

Day 89
Terrorists? Or...Just banks?

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, February 8, 2020 - Day 89
Today is Day 89. What would you call a person or entity who stole what belongs to you? A thief, robber, criminal
What would you call a person who made false claims against you? A slanderer, liar, talebearer, gossip
What would you call a person who chopped down your front door with an axe? An invader, attacker, enemy, fool
What would you call a person who travelled from another location, even another country, to come into your homeland, forge a fake identity...

Day 88
The Tyrants Are Coming

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, February 7, 2020 - Day 88
Today is Day 88. Have you watched our calls for help videos? Have you our reviewed Idaho ranch invasion pages or seen the theft, vandalism, and acts of terrorism committed against us? Are you one of the public officials we have asked for help, a prayer warrior standing with us on your knees, or a patriot unsure how you can help? Share our story and help us spread awareness of what is happening. We need America to tell the big bank terrorists enough is enough.

Day 87
The Swamp Of Bank Despotism

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, February 6, 2020 - Day 87
Today is Day 87. Our update is grave miscarriages of justice are continuing to occur.
A trash receptacle was hauled from our Idaho Ranch Tuesday night. Empty promises to return calls from Altisource yesterday morning were broken like all the others we have received from Altisource for the last 87 days. We have no updates on what has happened to our possessions hauled away by Simmons Sanitation of Kamiah, Idaho on Tuesday.

Day 86
Are we victims?

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, February 5, 2020 - Day 86
Today is Day 86. Are we victims? It sure feels like it to those of our family who are sitting in the snowy, cold conditions on the side of a hillside overlooking our Idaho Ranch today.
Naysayers and social media gossip trolls are claiming we are not victims, we are deadbeats who failed to make our payments and we need to move on with our life. The problem is they are wrong and are just regurgitating unsubstantiated false claims made by nationally convicted mortgage robbers and foreclosure terrorists. We made our payments and heroically fulfilled all financial obligations toward our properties. The banks told us we were being attacked for our Christian faith and opposing worldviews.

Day 85
Who Do We File Charges With?

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, February 4, 2020 - Day 85
Today is Day 85. Simmons Sanitation returned to the Idaho Ranch to pick up one of the receptacles today. We reached out to Altisource (property management group) and they again confirmed all efforts to remove our personal property was supposed to have ceased and desisted. Because Altisource is headquartered in Luxembourg and their property preservation group is in the Philippines, we were told those with the authority to act were unavailable. Yes, this means our American property has been taken over and is being held hostilely hostage by international operatives. We spoke with Lola at Simmons Sanitation out of Kamiah, Idaho, to make them aware the hired guns working for Chase were unlawfully removing our property.

Day 84
This Land Is Our Land

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, February 3, 2020 - Day 84
Today is Day 84. Another day has passed. Still no answers on when we will have access to our personal property being held hostage on the Idaho Ranch. It has been quiet. We are praying this means the mortgage robbers are mitigating damages and have decided to cease and desist from illegally destroying and removing any more of our personal property. Altisource has claimed they instructed the bank to stop all agents from further action. After months of refusing to communicate with us, and then only granting empty promises once they have, it is hard to keep the faith regarding Altisource and what they are going to do.

Day 83
Super Bowl Sunday

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, February 2, 2020 - Day 83
Today is Day 83. Today is Super Bowl Sunday. Our Montana team would love to surprise our Idaho campsite team by taking our Nickerson Family 2020 Super Bowl Party to the campsite today. Super Bowl Sunday is a favored holiday for our family. We have a unique family tradition that does not include watching the big game. Instead, we have a Super Bowl kind of message about giving our all in the game of life, then split into two teams, and give our all in competing in our own Super Bowl competitions. We play a host of football games, tackle football related challenges, and puzzle and riddle through football-themed queries to score points for our team. The winning team earns the title of Super Bowl Champions for the year.

Day 82
Winds of Justice

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, February 1, 2020 - Day 82
Today is Day 82. Today we are praying for the winds of justice to blow across America. It is time for wrongs to be righted and rights to be protected from wrongs. No matter who you are, where you are, where you go, where you live, what your social status is, how much education you have, what kind of work you do, what kind of music you like, what kind of world you have created around you, you can always find some good in every situation. What you look for in the world and what you offer to the world have a lot to do with how good or bad of a world you will find around you. Our travels have taught us there is far more good and clean, than bad and dirty, in America. The problem is it only takes one piece of dirt to make a clean glass of water dirty. Similarly, a little bad can ruin a lot of good.

Day 81
A Chance to Be Free

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, January 31, 2020 - Day 81
Today is Day 81. This was another letter writing day for the Nickerson Family. Most of the day was spent writing letters to those that should be helping stop this abuse. We may share a few of our letter resolution attempts on this site to help you understand a little more of what is happening.

Will you write some letters on our behalf? Many do not know our story. Mainstream media has ignored our plight or been told to stand down and not cover it. What has happened to us has been a classic human-interest story. The abuse is so blatant and the maliciousness so visible that every newsworthy organization should have widely distributed and circulated our story to help stop this tragedy from continuing. Instead, many have told us they have been instructed not to touch this story. Why? Because Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase have too much exposure and have no way to escape serious fallout from our story being told.

Day 80
Will This Be The Day?

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, January 30, 2020 - Day 80
Today is Day 80. Will this be the day that we win and this attack is stopped? This is the question we wake up with every morning. This is what we fight for every day and have invested time, money, and resources in for years. Can you imagine fighting a battle against grave miscarriages of injustice for almost a decade? Some of you have. Like you, our journey through the injustice system has been long, hard, and enraging. All the laws and regulations are in place to have stopped this abuse years ago, but those with the power to do so have refused to enforce and uphold them. Our family is tired, battle worn, and weary, but we are more resolved than ever to see this battle through to its natural conclusion. Our hope and prayer is we will be able to expose all the corruption that has allowed it to continue and that all involved will be held fully and comprehensively liable and accountable. No matter what happens, we know we are and have done the right thing.

Day 79
Is Anything Impossible With God?

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, January 29, 2020 - Day 79
Today is Day 79. We have been advocates for freedom and liberty our entire lives. Will ours be stripped away by big banks today because no one is willing to stand up to Wells Fargo in Montana and grave miscarriages of justice are being allowed to continue in Idaho?

Our answer, Is anything impossible with God? Once again, our emphatic and experiential answer is, No. Nothing is impossible with God. The Montana foreclosure sale of our Montana home and ranch has been postponed. We still have time to save the ranch and we are already scrambling to do so. Please pray for wisdom, guidance, direction, and favor as we try to stop the sale or secure the funds to satisfy the fraudulent and excessive judgment while we move our pursuit of justice to the federal courts.

Day 78
Are we free?

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, January 28, 2020 - Day 78
Today is Day 78. What makes your American citizenship have merit, value, worth to you personally? Have you ever thought about it? What has happened to us has forced us to really ponder and consider this question for years. Our family has concluded religious freedoms, due process, and property ownership are foundational freedoms that define and validate the purpose and value of our citizenship to us. Tomorrow, our Montana home is scheduled to be sold at public auction. We have been falsely accused of default. The bank foreclosing, HSBC Bank, has no ownership of our loan and we owe them no debt. Wells Fargo has colluded with HSBC Bank to escape reform promises made to Montana and steal our home. No trial by jury or legitimate due process has occurred.

Day 77
Our Rights Are Not For Sale

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, January 27, 2020 - Day 77
Today is Day 77. When great tragedies and horrific crimes against humanity occur, survivors and onlookers commit to never forget what happened to victims and to prevent such acts of hatred, cruelty, and nightmares from ever happening again. Millions lost their homes to wrongful foreclosure during the Great Foreclosure Holocaust. For many, like our family, their homes were attacked when they made their payments, fulfilled their obligations, and fought to save them. Many, like us, are still fighting to keep from losing their homes today. Wrongful foreclosure is not an isolated inconvenience, unfortunate occurrence, frustrating hassle, or short-lived crime. It is not a record keeping accident, computer glitch, or procedural malfunction.

Day 76
Cheerio Manna

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, January 26, 2020 - Day 76
Today is Day 76. At our little hillside above our ranch, sometimes it feels like everything kind of revolves around making food and keeping our campsite fire going. God has been so faithful to provide our food and fire needs for the last 76 days. This morning was no different. As our family poured our breakfast cereal, we were once again reminded how much God loves and cares for us and how specifically and completely He is taking care of us, even in the little things.
Cheerios recently launched a heart healthy campaign.

Day 75
The Big Sky Is Falling
Pray For The Nick and Donna Nickerson Family - Ranch Updates January 25, 2020

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, January 25, 2020 - Day 75
Today is Day 75. For our update today, we are sharing our email update that was sent out to friends and family.
Dear Friends and Family, After fighting for freedom from acute regulatory failure, persecution for our faith, and judicial tyranny for almost a decade, our home in Montana is scheduled to be sold next Wednesday, January 29, 2020. In a time when the economy is booming, great things are happening, grand promises are being made, and a broken country is getting rebuilt, everyone is so busy making America great again for their own personal interests and agendas that they have forgotten those victimized during America's free fall. Targeted families like ours are still being subjected to unfair mortgage foreclosure.

Day 74
Life Goes On

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, January 24, 2020 - Day 74
Today is Day 74. It happened to us. It could happen to you. What will you do when it does? It has happened to millions of others. We have been told around 20% of the homes foreclosed when the banks first went after us were not even in default. This means they, like us, made their payments, and it happened to them anyway. This stat fails to consider all the other issues that made many of the other 80% wrongful. We know because we have fought this injustice for around a decade and have read and heard the tragic stories of countless of other innocent homeowners. Whether this stat is accurate or the possibility of this happening to you crushes your little denial bubble or not, this could happen to you.

Day 73
Waiting For That Final Verdict

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, January 23, 2020 - Day 73
Today is Day 72. For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love. Psalms 109: 4, 5

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. For lo, they that are far from Thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from Thee. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all Thy works. Psalms 73:26 - 28

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward man. Acts 24:16

Armed guards claiming to work for the bank are continuing to burn and throw our personal belongings into trash receptacles and commit armed robbery by stealing other items and unlawfully transporting them off our property and out of our county. From our hillside perch, our family members are listening as our possessions are being thrown into Simmons Sanitation of Kamiah’s trash receptacles and are watching smoke rise as what rightly belongs to us is burned up and reduced to ashes day by day.

Day 72
In This Country

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, January 22, 2020 - Day 72
Today is Day 72. With my soul have I desired Thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek Thee early: for when Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Isaiah 26:9
It Happened To Us - We Are A Family Sign
This is who we, the Nick and Donna Nickerson Family, are. This framed proclamation on our wall at home was a precious gift from GOOD friends, who, after over three decades of loving, respecting, and laughing with us, have become like FAMILY to us.

Day 71
Nickerson Family Belongings Dumped Like Trash

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, January 21, 2020 - Day 71
Today is Day 71. Nick and a few patriot friends watched in disbelief and horror as a trash receptacle full of our personal belongings was dumped and destroyed today. Only a few items were able to be salvaged. Another receptacle is at the ranch waiting to be filled and dumped. Even if the evil intentions driving the actions of the bank had any lawful right or merit whatsoever, which they do not, intentionally and willfully vandalizing, destroying, and discarding property (working electronics and appliances, produce cartons and packaging, shop supplies) rather than giving it to others who could use it blatantly displays and corroborates this entire attack is about targeting and hurting us, not foreclosing on a property. Chase, Wells Fargo, whoever you are, nothing has changed. We are still, if not more, resolved to stand against you and for what is right.

Day 70
Clearwater County, Idaho - Civil Rights Grotesquely Violated On Martin Luther King Day 2020

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, January 20, 2020 - Day 70
Today is Day 70. As you know, acting Sheriff Chris Goetz led an armed assault and raid against our Idaho Ranch on November 12, 2019. Post this raid, he seized and hired North American Van Lines to transport five moving trucks of our personal belongings, as well as items we believe were transported in separate vehicles, across state lines into Washington State.

Personal belongings, heirlooms, treasured items, agricultural investments, live animals, ranching equipment, costly supplies, and personal property belonging to Clearwater County residents were left on the ranch even though the acting sheriff released false and untrue public statements that all our personal belongings had been removed. Our family has non-violently waited for 70 days on a hillside above our ranch to have personal belongings, the bank has admitted verbally and in writing belong to us, returned to our rightful possession.

Day 69
Are Background Checks For Rocks Next?

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, January 19, 2020 - Day 69
Today is Day 69. Our camp is reporting a gorgeous sunrise today. It is a new day and we are rejoicing and being glad in it. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you. Matthew 5:11, 12

Local friends stopped by to pray, visit, and fellowship with our family at the camp today. What an encouragement. So many friends have been sharing our story, encouraging people to pray, crying out to God and patriots to help stop the sale of our Montana home, trying to find authorities to help restore all Idaho has taken from us, interviewing with reporters, and reaching out to everyone they think might be able to help.

Day 68
The Value of One

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, January 18, 2020 - Day 68
Today is Day 68. Our family paused in the middle of this battle to raise the torch of freedom, liberty, and justice for all, including the unborn, and march in faith, prayer, and action for life today. Members of our family remained at the hillside while others participated in the Montana Capitol March For Life. Donna was one of the speakers. You can hear her speech and maybe learn a little more about the faith of our family.

Day 67
We Will Rise Again

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, January 17, 2020 - Day 67
Today is Day 67. The elk visited the campsite this morning and brought a new baby by to show it off. Our camp has so enjoyed their antics and magnificent beauty. The herd is becoming more and more at rest with our family. We would love to scratch some ears or give a little elk baby a squeezy hug.

Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Proverbs 24:15,16

We were served notice yesterday our Montana Ranch is scheduled to be sold at public auction on January 29, 2020. The foreclosure summary judgment on the Montana Ranch was granted four years ago.

Day 66
National Religious Freedom Day and National Do Nothing Day

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, January 16, 2020 - Day 66
Today is Day 66. Today is National Religious Freedom Day. According to Black’s Law Dictionary 4th Edition, freedom is defined the state of being free; liberty; self-determination; absence of restraint; the opposite of slavery. To take it further, Constitutional liberty or freedom is described, Such freedom as is enjoyed by the citizens of a country or state under the protection of its constitution; the aggregate of those personal, civil, and political rights of the individual which are guaranteed by the constitution and secured against invasion by the government or any of its agencies. People v. Hurlbut, 24 Mich. 106, 9 Am. Rep. 103. The New Oxford American Dictionary defines freedom as the power or right to act, think, or speak as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Apparently, freedom has been redefined in Idaho. From our little hillside perch, it appears freedom means you get what you pay for if you pay the right people the right amount of money or you get to be in charge if you act like a bully and make everyone around you scared to stand up to you and your threats.

Day 65
Where Oh Where Have The Green Gates Gone?

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, January 15, 2020 - Day 65
Today is Day 65. Officer McCullough called from the Office of the Clearwater County Sheriff to find out if we had any information about two green gates that have apparently been stolen from our Idaho Ranch. It was offensive and angering for the Sheriff to be involved with missing gates hung by armed robbers to vandalize and ruin our special log entry when they have refused to help facilitate the retrieval of our personal belongings they negligently left behind in their mock raid to remove all our personal belongings. We spent around five to six minutes with Officer McCullough affirming we did not take the gates. We also seized the opportunity to educate him in what happened on November 12th and make sure he was aware we are the only ones who have obeyed all the laws in this entire matter.

Day 64
By Many Or By Few

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, January 14, 2020 - Day 64
Today is Day 64. Today the sunshine broke through the clouds in Idaho and Montana. Hopefully, we are not far from a breakthrough with our cases. Members of our family are working on raid documentation, complaints, and federal filings. The human, civil, and religious rights issues in this case demand an audience. Housing, property ownership, safety, and security are basic human rights. Due process and protection from illegal invasion, unlawful seizure, false imprisonment, and wrongful arrest are foundational civil rights. Being free to love and give to others as part of living out one’s core beliefs without fear or discrimination constitute religious rights. Acute regulatory failure, systemic corruption, procedural manipulation, and judicial tyranny have permitted laws, regulations, and codes that protect these rights to be violated. We need champions of freedom to step in and help provide some relief.

Day 63
Friends Are Friends Forever

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, January 13, 2020 - Day 63
Today is Day 63. We were laughing together about how it seems like much of our daily journals include fire and food. The reason is simple. It is because these are two of our biggest hillside challenges we face each day and are the practical ways others have been able to bless us during this crisis. For those of you who intimately know our family, our commitments to preparedness and healthy living, and our history of sharing with others in abundance, you can imagine how frustrated the theft of our storehouse and our current lack of resources has been. Trusted friends stepping in to help relieve some of the pressure suffered caused by the malicious acts of others means so much to us. We really should probably say more, especially about food, as we are convinced we have eaten some of the best camp food in the Continental United States over the last 63 days. WHEN we get the ranch back, maybe we can host a camp meeting up at the ranch and bring in all our gourmet campfire cooks to prepare buffets so you can be as blessed as we have been.

Day 62
Survival Of The Fittest

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, January 12, 2020 - Day 62
Today is Day 62. One of our favorite carpenters stopped to check on us today. What kind, gentle and faithful patriots he and his wife are. They truly care for others and it shows. We are thankful God has blessed us with the opportunity to know them and have the honor of calling them our friends. 62 days is a long time to be away from our home and the injustices being suffered continue to mount as time passes on. Refusing to return our personal belongings and forcing us to fight a legal battle from a hillside, in and of itself, demonstrates and corroborates this entire attack is rooted in tyranny, oppression, and persecution.

The status is Clearwater County is continuing to ignore their responsibilities, obligations, and liabilities in this matter. The irrefutable fact is they broke laws and made mistakes in raiding our property and dispossessing us of our personal belongings.

Day 61
Perfect Peace

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, January 11, 2020 - Day 61
Today is Day 61. Let not your heart be troubled… This was the passage playing on our Bible DVD when we woke up this morning. Some have asked how we can we keep our heart from being troubled when our home and ranches are being stolen, our freedoms are being revoked, our personal belongings have been lost and destroyed, and we are being abused and victimized by those we trusted and believed in. Our answer is simple. By believing and trusting that God will make a way when there seems to be no way. He is the One that gives us hope, has a plan for our future, and promises to be with us until the end.

Day 60
Happy Birthday, Amanda

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, January 10, 2020 - Day 60
Today is Day 60. The report from the campsite is life is good. Praise the Lord even the cold, snowy, wet weather is not dampening the spirits of our campsite watchman and prayer warriors. Today was a day filled with thank you moments. A dear friend brought a combo pizza, salad complete with a yummy salad dressing, and juice for lunch. Our adopted neighbor family brought chili, triscuits, and oatmeal carob chip cookies for dinner. Sweet new friends offered to do our shopping and picked up yogurt, cereal and bread for us while they were in town. Another friend called to ask if there was anything at all he could do for us. Phone calls. Cards. Waves. Honks. All day long the Lord reminded us that we are not alone in this battle and that others care and are standing with us. Is this not what community is all about? Loving, sharing, giving, and helping one another. Thank you to those who loved us today. It means more to our family than words can express.

Day 59
True Friends Stand With You

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, January 9, 2020 - Day 59
Today is Day 59. It has been said that if a man can count on one hand the number of friends he has at the end of his life, he has lived a blessed life. Our family feels so blessed for all the friends who are filling our hands today. A bowl of warm lentils, a loaf of banana bread, a prayer for God to be with us, a phone and email hug, contacts and meetings with public officials on our behalf, letters asking for others to help stop this attack, so many acts of kindness and support. Yes, our family has been hurt deeply by betrayal, corruption, and unchecked tyranny; but God is using this situation to remind us what a value true friends are. True friends stand with you even when it is cold, wet, snowy, and unpopular.

Day 58
Milk For The Camp

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, January 8, 2020 - Day 58
Today is Day 58. Have you ever heard of George Müller? When precious friends brought milk to the campsite today, we were reminded of the many stories of God’s faithfulness in George’s life. George was pastor and a missionary to orphans in England. We have read he preached, cared for over 10,000 orphans, and established over a 100 Christian schools in his lifetime. He was quite a faith walker. He operated only faith-based orphanages and ministries, and his spirit of gratefulness and stories of how God was faithful to supply all their needs have always been an inspiration to our family. If you want to increase your trust in God and learn to walk in faith, we encourage you to pick up a book and read about his life. We think you will be blessed.

We had another extra special blessing at the campsite today.

Day 57
The Present

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, January 7, 2020 - Day 57
Today is Day 57. Did you know every day is a gift from God? That is why we call it the present. When this day started out rainy and wet, we prayed rain, rain go away, come again another day, and praise the Lord it did. We were able to gather firewood for the campfire with one of our dear friends and neighbors who is helping us keep the fires burning. We are thankful and blessed by the ways God is meeting our every need. One great need we have is for our personal belongings and personal pets still on the ranch to be returned to us. Friends and neighbors still have property on the ranch as well.

It is a matter of law, fact, and reality that our personal belongings were rightfully on our property the morning of November 12th.

Day 56
Let It Snow

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, January 6, 2020 - Day 56
Today is Day 56. We are told it is National Thank God It Is Monday Day. Well the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful. And since there’s no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Did you know every single snowflake is unique and that no two snowflakes are the same? Yet, they are all joining together today, without any selfish motives, sinister agendas, or greedy schemes to make the most beautiful winter landscape any campsite could ask for. For the last 56 days, our little campfire on the hill has continued to burn, warmer at times, more brightly at others, but it has faithfully and consistently burned through rain, hail, sleet and snow. Today, our campfire crew is reporting it is burning just right. We are so very thankful for the kind-hearted patriot that cared enough on November 12th to light the one little spark that started this fire and for every patriot who has brought wood to keep it going ever since.

Day 55
With A Greater Love

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, January 5, 2020 - Day 55
Today is Day 55. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Our cowboy friend Everett stopped by the campsite today and shared stories about his life growing up in a multi-generational ranching operation. He shared how his dad, grandpa, uncle, and their neighbors all worked together to make ends meet and take care of their families. Times were often hard back then and much effort was required to just take care of a family’s daily life needs. As the saying goes though, those were the good old days. The good old days. For many, the good old days are remembered as an era when family, friends and neighbors helped each other and pulled together to find solutions when problems and hardships came along. Not only did survival often demand it, but the good old boys believed getting involved when there was a need was their family obligation, friendly responsibility, and the neighborly thing to do.

Day 54
Paper Cups

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, January 4, 2020 - Day 54
Today is Day 54. His mercies are new every morning. Have you ever noticed how when you are not at home, the simplest of items can feel like they are paramount to your survival and comfort? Today our campsite watchman were in need of some paper cups. A simple item, but very necessary for the thirsty camper who just ran out. Loving friends stopped by with paper cups, prayers, and a casserole dish of cheesy potatoes. Other friends brought good news from afar and words of encouragement with their sweet visits. We are so grateful for faithful, loving friends who are standing with us on this hillside.

Many of you reading these updates are asking how you too can stand with us and show your support.

Day 53
It Is Time To Catch And Round Up The Predators

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, January 3, 2020 - Day 53
Today is Day 53. As we listened to the coyotes howling on the bench this morning, we were reminded of how PHH Mortgage Services, by and through all their names, have acted as predators toward us and other innocent homeowners. On this day in 2018, the Idaho Department of Finance (IDF) announced Idaho and financial regulators from 46 other states had entered a settlement agreement with PHH Mortgage Corp (PHH) to assist borrowers harmed by PHH during 2009 – 2012 as a result of severe operational deficiencies in mortgage servicing identified during a multistate examination. For those of you who are not familiar with the details of our case, these are the years we were being victimized by the very operational deficiencies cited in the settlement. We reached out to the IDF for help back then, but none was forthcoming.

Day 52
Let The Winds Blow

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, January 2, 2020 - Day 52
Today is Day 52. Members of our family are at the campsite in high winds. We are praising the Lord for nice, comfy, warm, wind free vehicles to retreat to for relief and protection. Not all victims of wrongful foreclosure, fraud, civil racketeering, domestic terrorism, and other such civil and human right violations have been or are so fortunate. Our hearts and prayers go out to them today as we continue to pray and take this stand for liberty and justice for all.

Stealing a man’s birthright and attacking their homeland are not new or undocumented crimes. Greedy, evil usurers were stealing properties in Idaho and Montana territories when the West was first being settled. Many campfire stories, maybe even on our hillside, have been told of how the Wells Fargo wagon drove away with an innocent American’s life savings, and county records across our homeland are filled with how JPMorgan chased the American dream away from great patriots.

Day 51
Happy New Year

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, January 1, 2020 - Day 51
Today is Day 51. As you begin the new year, what are you most thankful for? We are thankful that even amid the trials and tribulations being wrongly forced upon us, our family has so much to be thankful for on this New Year’s Day. Our cups and plates are running over with a greater love, deepened faith, lasting hope, inner joy, peace that passes all understanding, loving family, faithful friends, miraculously met needs, and abundant blessings that are too innumerable to list. On this new year day, we feel blessed and grateful for all the wondrous ways God is working in and through our family even as our fight for freedom has left us away from our home and stranded on a little hillside.

Day 50
Building Good Altars

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Day 50
Today is Day 50. The last day of 2019. The eve before 2020. Is anything too impossible for God? Can law, order, peace, unity, morality, integrity, common sense, liberty and justice for all once again be ours in America? The Bible often talks about altars (memorials) being erected to remind victims, villains, and victors of the great things that happened to them. America has erected a lot of altars in her relatively short history. Her altars have appeared as monuments, legislation, regulations, laws, plays, books, movies. These altars have reminded us of the men and women who sacrificed and gave their lives to cause good and not evil to reign in our homeland. They caused us to believe in freedom and that anything was possible in America. They gave us hope of a brighter future, belief that we were safe and secure, and a trust that we could reap from what we sowed. They have reminded us of what has happened to others so we could believe in what could happen for us today. No family could be more patriotic or love and be more loyal to their country and homeland than we have been.

Day 49
Humpty Dumpty Fell Off The Justice Wall

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, December 30, 2019 - Day 49
Today is Day 49. We spent today trying to put back together what the Clearwater County and Idaho Humpty Dumptys who fell off the justice wall broke. We did not call in all the kings horses and all the kings men to help us since they did not show up to stop everything from being broken in the first place. Plus, according to the nursery rhyme, they would not be much help putting everything back together anyway. We are moving along one item at a time and are grateful to God for each item He saved and is helping us put back together. This is why our trust is in God, and not in men and horses.

Day 48
Make A Difference

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, December 29, 2019 - Day 48
Today is Day 48. Did you know this is the last Sunday of 2019? In a few short days, none of us will ever have the opportunity to make a difference in 2019 again. How are you planning to spend today? Have you thought about it? Many people just live, exist, try to manage the minute they are experiencing. No plans. No vision. No purpose. When we first became a family over 32 years ago, we purposed and determined we would build a household of faith. We committed our lives and future family to loving and serving others. Over the years as our family grew, loving others for Him became our call and mission. We worked hard and made many sacrifices to be able to buy the Idaho Ranch so we could share it with others. We bought it as part of our self-funded family outreach ministry. Self-funded means we bought it and used our own hard-earned money to build and develop it into an amazing ranch.

Day 47
Some Questions Have Disturbing Answers

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, December 28, 2019 - Day 47
Today is Day 47. Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season and are excited about the new year. Today was a beautiful day on the hill. We had a wonderful time visiting, sharing campfire meals, and roasting marshmallows with friends. God has provided wonderful homes for our livestock and their guardians. Though we will miss them and are suffering the loss of needing to let them go, we are very thankful they will be well taken care of and that they can be a blessing to some very special friends.
If you are following our story, you are most likely wondering how any of what is happening to us can be happening in America, and especially in Idaho or Montana. Are public officials really so fearful of political fallout that they are willing to do nothing to stop the persecution and oppression of an innocent family?

Day 46
Singing Of His Amazing Grace

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, December 27, 2019 - Day 46
Today is Day 46. Santa brought our family a life size giant piano mat for Christmas. This morning we laughed as we thought of Isaiah 14:7 and how it applied to our family, The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing...and, in this case, playing our new piano. What a wonderful way to begin a morning - singing of His amazing grace, especially when you know His Grace is always sufficient to help you make it through whatever the day holds. Today, as long as the snow does not prevent it, some of our livestock are moving to their new homes and we are gathering items that had to be scattered all over the county due to the raid.

Day 45
Happy Day After Christmas

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, December 26, 2019 - Day 45
Today is Day 45. Happy day after Christmas to you. We trust you had a good Christmas filled with love, laughter, and special memories. Friends, family, neighbors, and some very special wildlife visitors made our first ever campsite Christmas quite a memorable experience. Santa woke everyone up around daylight with a bag full of Christmas gifts. Elk and turkey showed up at breakfast and listened to our Christmas hymns. We enjoyed...

Day 44
Merry Christmas

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, December 25, 2019 - Day 44
Today is Day 44. Merry Christmas from the Nickersons!

Day 43
Christmas Eve Without A Room

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, December 24, 2019 - Day 43
Today is Day 43. One day until Christmas. When Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus, was one day from giving birth, she and her husband Joseph found themselves without a place to sleep the night before the first Christmas. A kind innkeeper offered them his barn as a place to stay warm and get out of the cold. No, Bethlehem was not in a foreclosure crisis and their home had not been stolen from them. This innocent family had travelled to Bethlehem because they were law abiding citizens and they needed to be counted so they could pay their taxes. Jesus was born on the first Christmas morning in a manger. For those of you who are Christians, you know He was called, Emmanuel, God with us. We believe He came to earth because He loved us and wanted to provide every man, woman, and child a way to be saved from the penalty of sin. What is sin? Stealing someone's ranch and maliciously destroying their stuff...

Day 42
A Christmas Foreclosure

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, December 23, 2019 - Day 42
Today is Day 42. Two more days until Christmas. Those of you who know us, know how much we love and enjoy the holidays. Banksters, mortgage robbers, and Idaho public officials, aka Grinchmen, are trying to foreclose our Christmas this year. Do you know our family or what is really happening to us? You might want to take a few minutes and hear what we have to say. Whether you like it or not, or want to believe it or not, what is happening to us, could happen to you and your family.

A little about our family...Our family has devoted our lives to loving, giving, and treating others with respect and in the ways we wanted to be treated. We have made personal and family choices to maintain high moral and ethical standards. We have learned and cherished the old paths as we call them (aka, We like the old-fashioned ways of doing things that are time tested, proven, and that work. We are not real impressed with how new and improved has worked out for Americans as a whole.) We have esteemed family and Christian values above worldly or secular choices and ways of living. We look, dress, enjoy different things, and act different than some, but life has taught us something about different. Different is not necessarily wrong; sometimes it is just different. Thus...

Day 41
When Those Who Know Better Do The Wrong Thing

We Are Fighting Back - Sunday, December 22, 2019 - Day 41
Today is Day 41. Yesterday marked the 40th day of our hillside vigil. We have finished inventorying the seized boxes and are preparing documentation to submit for the theft, vandalism, and terrorism facilitated and executed by Clearwater County, the State of Idaho, JPMorgan Chase, PHH, and their accomplices. Clearwater County and their acting supporters have presented to the public they acted on November 12, 2019, based on a lawful writ. This is false and is not the truth. Even if the writ presented were a lawful document, which it is not, Clearwater County fatally failed to follow the instructions in the writ presented and therefore acted outside of any alleged authority. (Click to read The Bad Boy's Writ.) Personal belongings remain on the ranch in violation of the alleged writ and the public statements released by Sheriff Chris Goetz. Further, our livestock and personal pets were left on the ranch by Sheriff Chris Goetz and we have not been allowed access to retrieve those still remaining on the ranch. Clearwater County, JAS Properties, and Jim Myers, one of the hired guns working for JPMorgan Chase, have failed to return the stolen items and prevented us from retrieving our personal belongings still at the ranch in violation of the alleged writ.

Day 40
Come Unto Me

We Are Fighting Back - Saturday, December 21, 2019 - Day 40
Today is Day 40. Only 4 more days until Christmas. What is your family asking for Christmas this year? Ours is just asking for all of us to be together. While some of our family holds a prayer vigil at our hillside campsite, others are opening box after box of maliciously and intentionally destroyed family heirlooms, treasures, memories, and belongings. Much has been damaged, but we are thankful for everything God protected and that we have been able to salvage some of our special items. As we continue to press on, we are thankful for the promise of Matthew 11:28, Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Day 39
Our Trust Is In Him

We Are Fighting Back - Friday, December 20, 2019 - Day 39
Today is Day 39. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we remember the Name of the Lord our God. For years, around 8, our message on the Idaho Ranch phone has been, No matter what you are going through, God is still on His Throne and you can rest in Him. (Audio clip) Today as we deal with the grave miscarriages of justice we are enduring, we are thankful that through the years we have chosen to know, trust, and rest in Him. Time and life experience has taught us all things do work together for good, that He always does the most loving thing for His Children, and that what satan intends for evil, God can use for good. So, as we continue to find damages and injuries and inventory the maliciously hateful and mean acts committed against us and our personal belongings, we are so thankful our trust is in God and not in men. We are not sure how He is going to work all this together for good, but we trust He is.

Day 38
Decorating For Christmas

We Are Fighting Back - Thursday, December 19, 2019 - Day 38
Today is Day 38. Only 6 more days until Christmas. Early Christmas snow has beautifully adorned our campsite Christmas tree. Dear friends brought Christmas cheer to our hillside campsite with an amazing 15 foot fir tree. We have not found our decorations in the moving boxes yet, but Nicole created some beautiful handcarved and woodburned ornaments around the campfire using a homemade clothes hanger woodburner and pieces of firewood from one of our precious neighbors. She woodburned special to us Christmas phrases like, Emmanuel - God with us, Away in a manger, The Prince of Peace, Wise men seek Him, and Holly Jolly Christmas on them. She and Charles have been decorating the campsite with unique wood-burned plaques bearing inspirational messages like Keep the Faith, Trust In God, King of Kings, Merry Christmas, and For King and Croft to encourage and inspire us and our holiday guests. All of these creations will certainly become treasured tokens from our campsite Christmas in the years to come. Even though we would all rather be home for the holidays...

Day 37
They Cannot And They Knew It And Know It

We Are Fighting Back - Wednesday, December 18, 2019 - Day 37
Today is Day 37. 7 more days until Christmas. Today was a pre-trial conference to address trespass charges Clearwater County is pressing against one of our family members for being on our private property on November 12, 2019. A question for the common sense thinkers out there? Can someone be trespassing when they are on their own property? Our common sense answer is no. Despite any false narratives gossiping around out there, according to all truth, facts, and law, we are the only right and true owners of our property and no due process has occurred that can allow us to be lawfully dispossessed. Why? Because we committed no act or inaction to warrant or justify our ranch being taken from us and it is irrefutable that PHH has no lawful beneficial interest in our ranch or a loan against our ranch. So, how can Clearwater County illegally seize our property, steal and destroy our personal belongings, detain our family, and arrest a family member? They cannot...and they knew and know it.

Day 36
Standing With Truth Against Falsehood

We Are Fighting Back - Tuesday, December 17, 2019 - Day 36
Today is Day 36. Each year our family enjoys counting down the days until Christmas with our special advent calendar. Though it is not with us this year for us to hang our little ornament, today marks 8 days until Christmas. This is certainly not the Christmas we were planning 36 days ago. Normally this time of year we are making our Christmas presents for each other, giving gifts to others, enjoying holiday gatherings, baking, and celebrating the birth and life of Jesus. This year we are maintaining a prayer vigil and standing as watchmen on a hillside above our Idaho Ministry Ranch. Our property has been invaded. Many of our personal belongings. including the lighted wise men to our nativity set, family heirlooms, tools, and special treasures are being held hostage down below at our ranch. Pretty much everything else seized in the raid has been intentionally and maliciously damaged, broken, violated and destroyed.

Again, as we have told all who will listen, this is not a foreclosure. We committed no act or inaction to allow our property to be foreclosed. We did not walk away from our responsibilities, obligations, or the substantial equity we invested and built up in our ranches. We are being punished for not submitting to persecution, oppression, and tyranny in our homeland.

Day 35
America, What Will You Do?

We Are Fighting Back - Monday, December 16, 2019 - Day 35
Today is Day 35. We are maintaining a prayer vigil and standing as watchmen on a hillside above our property. We still have personal belongings at the ranch. Our personal belongings at the storage facilities in the State of Washington have been retrieved. We have no idea what kind of condition the personal belongings left at the ranch are in. JPMorgan Chase, PHH, and those working with and on their behalf, have held them hostage since the raid. Their representatives have refused to communicate or respond to our requests and demands. The personal belongings that were stolen and unlawfully transported to Washington were pillaged, maliciously damaged, and intentionally destroyed. Documentation to allow you to see for yourself the maliciousness of those who are targeting our family will be up soon. This is not a foreclosure. This is persecution, oppression, and tyranny. Click to read more about the Idaho Ranch invasion and raid. We are in a Constitutional crisis. Our Constitutional rights are being revoked by public officials aiding and abetting racketeering schemes of banksters and mortgage robbers. America, what are you going to do about it?

It happened to us. It has happened to others. It could happen to you.

The remaining days are temporarily unavailable, but will be posted soon.
Thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, and support. We have been and are fighting back...
