Pray For The Nick and Donna Nickerson Family – Idaho Ranch Prayer Update August 6, 2019

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for your prayers, words of encouragement, and faithful support. We are all doing well. Harvest is coming in at both ranches, and we are very grateful God’s blessings and mercies are new every morning. Many of you are asking for an update on what is happening at the Idaho Ranch. Excerpts from the update we were planning to send are below:

We are still in possession…We have filed a motion for reconsideration to ask Judge FitzMaurice to reconsider his summary judgment. Please pray for us as we are diligently preparing our memorandum and oral argument in support of this motion. The memorandum is due to be filed by Tuesday, August 6, 2019. A hearing for oral argument is scheduled for August 20, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. Pray we will be able to effectively demonstrate the error of previous decisions and persuade Judge FitzMaurice to reverse all previous judgments…Also, we had the opportunity to personally share our story with Idaho Governor Brad Little, members of his administration, Senator Crabtree, Representative Priscilla Giddings, several other elected state officials, and Idaho citizens who travelled to a county gathering in Grangeville, Idaho, this past Tuesday. Governor Little’s team has invited us to share more information with them and they have promised to look in to this situation and see what they can do to help. Please pray, write letters, and come to the hearing on the 20th if you can…

Sadly, this update changed drastically when we received a new order from the District Court Sunday. We spent yesterday responding to these changes so we apologize for not updating you sooner. On Wednesday at 9:11 a.m., Judge FitzMaurice denied our motion for reconsideration and vacated (cancelled) our August 20th reconsideration hearing. We are shocked, saddened, and frustrated by this news. Yesterday we filed an objection to this ruling as this decision was procedurally premature, demonstrates an abuse of discretion, and an error of judgment. Per the Idaho Rules of Civil Procedure, it is outside the Court’s jurisdictional authority to issue these orders and opinions prior to reviewing and considering the arguments, authorities, and evidence referenced in our memorandum and supporting affidavit scheduled to be filed today based on an August 20th hearing. Since the Court was notified of our intention to provide these, but he ruled without waiting for them, we are hopeful he will acknowledge his error and correct this miscarriage of justice. We will keep you posted on what happens next.

How can you help? Please continue to pray. Reach out to your networks and anyone else you think might be able to help. Share our story. Our greatest need right now is prayer coverage and patriots standing with us. It is inconceivable that this type of judicial tyranny is happening in America, but it is. We are planning to update with more documentation and details of our story in an easy to navigate form in the next few days. As part of the updates, we are adding new legal, media, and persecuted Christian pages that target specific parts of our story. Feel free to share these with any authorities, media contacts, or freedom loving watchdog organizations you think can or would be willing to help. Write letters and make phone calls on our behalf to those who have the authority to help - Sheriff Chris Goetz, Clearwater County Commissioners (Mike Ryan, John Smith, Rick Winkel), Idaho Governor Brad Little, President Donald Trump, anyone you think might be able to help.

Above all, thank you for your prayers, patience with us as we try to keep you as updated as time will allow, and continued support. We pray God’s safety, protection, and blessings on each of you. Know we are praying for you daily as we cry out to God to heal and save our land.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him
. Psalms 37:39, 40

Fighting in faith and prayer,
The Nick and Donna Nickerson Family
