We Are Fighting Back - Day 69

Are Background Checks For Rocks Next?

Sunday, January 19, 2020

Today is Day 69. Our camp is reporting a gorgeous sunrise today. It is a new day and we are rejoicing and being glad in it.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in Heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you. Matthew 5:11, 12

Local friends stopped by to pray, visit, and fellowship with our family at the camp today. What an encouragement. So many friends have been sharing our story, encouraging people to pray, crying out to God and patriots to help stop the sale of our Montana home, trying to find authorities to help restore all Idaho has taken from us, interviewing with reporters, and reaching out to everyone they think might be able to help. We are honored and humbled by your help and support. There is so much to be done. Thank you to all who are standing with us for every single act you are doing.

Special Request: Please be in prayer for Virginia tomorrow. Patriots showing up in great numbers generates citizen enforced attitude adjustments and helps to remind all parties who the real leaders of the country are. Politically divisive rhetoric has been creating irreconcilable differences and causing Americans to choose sides for far too long. It is time for a common sense thinking revival and for the walls of division being built for political gain to be broken down. It seems axiomatic to state that everyone should know big sticks that go bang (firearms) are not the causal source of violence in America. Further, confiscating the guns of law abiding citizens and leaving them vulnerable to tyrants is not in the best interest of the American people. It is statistically irrefutable that weapons of all categories deter intrusions, attacks, invasions, and violence, not cause them. Therefore, since armed citizens serve as freedom watchers and guards of justice and democracy, taking away weapons in a free society defies all logic and contradicts historical common sense.

Violence is in response to a heart condition, and with this condition, any item can virtually become a fatal weapon. Once a wise Texas Sheriff was asked about adding gun restrictions to curtail violent crimes in his town. He responded, What are we going to do next, outlaw rocks? You see, the last two murders in his town had been committed with rocks. De-rocking Texas is a task too big even for Texas. Additionally, if we start seizing items likely to be used in violent crimes, where does it stop? Will cars, pickups, and SUVs be next? Vehicular manslaughter is a codified crime. Yet, there are no background checks for new drivers, speed governors for less experienced drivers, smaller engine requirements or off-road limitations for higher risk drivers. Common sense, America. Common sense. Heal the hearts. Prevent the hurts. Address the issues of anger, despair, and hopelessness. Stop the violence. Patriots presence in Virginia tomorrow will show that America is willing to take up arms to keep from having our arms taken away. Hopefully those who would exploit freedom for their own personal interests will wisely redirect their energies to curing the cultural heart diseases plaguing this country. Focusing on education and social maturation in family, local, state, and federal arenas could save lives and communicate all lives and freedoms matter to we the people.
