We Are Fighting Back - Day 92

Our Problem Is Your Problem

Tuesday, February 11, 2020

Today is Day 92. Not that long ago, general duty of care meant you must take reasonable care to avoid actions or inactions which might hurt or harm those around you.  It was taught in schools as the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Working and playing together for the good, safety, and benefit of all was drilled in sport teams, groups, and squads. Our society was once interconnected with barn raisings, Sunday lunches, and block parties. We were a caring culture and society. When one hurt, we all hurt. When one prevailed, we all rejoiced. When one fell, we picked him up. When one suffered loss, we all helped restore their loss. When a wrong was done, everyone rallied to right the wrong. When one had a problem, it was considered a community problem. Our public officials were elected to help make all these things happen, to be the champions of our causes, to prevent all of us from being harmed or harming others. Our problems, yours and mine, became the responsibility of public officials to address. As our culture has become more and more corrupted, our communities have become less and less connected. Neighbors no longer know each other. Public officials are free to act based on political agendas, not as the educated voice of the people they serve. Social media has been touted to be the new way for our technologically advanced society to stay in contact. We have watched families sit at restaurants together and text each other instead of enjoying true face timing and making memorable real personal connections. Granted, social media has its place and has irrefutably established itself as a widespread connection tool, but have you read the ugliness and ill-mannered gossip chains that litter their refuse all over the web? An innocent visitor can be exposed to more hurt, hatefulness, and cruelty on social media in one setting than they would have been in an entire decade not that long ago. How is this good? How is this building community, bridges, and a relational society? Where is all this hatred that is being spewed out coming from? How was the heartland of America transformed from a caring, loving, giving society to attacking, vicious, malicious enemies? When did Americans start hating someone who is wearing a hat of their favorite President enough to hit them? Why would anyone rejoice over anyone's loss, injury, or pain because they had a different worldview? How did society get to this point in America? Our family has devoted our lives toward always helping those around us whatever their need and whoever they were. We have helped many of you along the way. It was our honor and our privilege. In this battle, our request for help has simply been that you pray for us and help us spread awareness of what is happening to us. We ask again, will you please share our story, make phone calls, and help us save our homeland?

Tomorrow our property is being sold at public auction when we did nothing wrong to allow it to be taken from us. If you have been told otherwise, you have been lied to and all truth, facts, and validated evidence proves it.  We realize some of you reading this may not think our problem is your problem and helping us find a solution is not your responsibility. This is the United States of America. United we stand. Divided we fall. Though we support your right to think however you choose to, we have a question we encourage you to ponder. Who will help you when it happens to you? Who will be the one to consider your problem, their problem? Who will stand in the gap for you when the gap is to big for you to bridge it alone?

We are the Nick and Donna Nickerson Family. Today our home is in Montana in the United States of America. Will it be tomorrow? The truth is, you will decide. We can only save our home if America is outraged enough at what is happening to us to demand true justice be served and freedom for all be preserved. Public officials have refused to act on our behalf. Will they act on yours when it happens to you? What happens to us tomorrow will set precedents of what can happen to you. What happens tomorrow will also determine if America is still a free country, at least if it is free for our family, the Nick and Donna Nickerson Family.

This is our home. We want to keep it. We have and have always had the wherewithal to keep it. We have and are continuing to fight to keep it. Before God and man, we committed no act or inaction that warrants or justifies our home being taken from us. Our home is being stolen, not foreclosed. This is judicial tyranny, mortgage terrorism, systemic corruption, acute regulatory failure, procedural manipulation, persecution for our faith, and punishment for promoting freedoms and liberty for all. Does this sound like freedom to you? It does not to our family. Tomorrow will tell.
